For the first time ever...

...I present to you, The I Think I'm Losing My Hair Song! Yes, that's right the song you would expect to hear from the soundtrack of hair loss. I figure other blogs put up just as ridiculous specials. In the drive to stay fresh and cutting edge in the blogging world, I bring you a belated Christmas gift.

This hair loss thing came into my head today because of new headphones. I've always used ear buds before this, and these new ones are cans. So I'm not used to them messing up my hair Mike Tomlin style. So I put my hand on my head and notice it seems one patch of hair isn't there, but all it really was that my headphones were pushing my hair down. Here I was, already planning on how I could cut my hair so it would ease the transition.

To my relief, I regained the ability to think shortly thereafter.

And now onto this week's addition to The I Think I'm Losing My Hair Song list.

Spoon - Don't Make Me a Target

The drums kick in right when it hits you that you should have more hair. You shout to the heavens your plea, "Don't make me a target!" This obviously refers to you being target for the haired populace's scorn (we all hate a baldy). After a bit there's a little jam interlude. This is when you realize that no one has lost hair this fast since Chernobyl. And finally the track ends with your continued murmur.

Oh and apologies to not posting for a bit, I had no mouse for my laptop. That little square in the middle just doesn't cut it.*
